Kay Behrensmeyer, vertebrate paleontologist and taphonomist, has worked
extensively toward understanding the context and environment of human
evolution in East Africa and Pakistan. She has also served as Associate
Director for Science at the National Museum of Natural History and is co-
director of the museum’s Evolution of Terrestrial Ecosystems program.
Join us for dinner and dessert as she shares field stories, exciting fossil
finds, and reflections on how the field of paleontology has changed for women.
