General Meetings
A general meeting happens at the beginning of each fall quarter to discuss the logistics of the year ahead, plan events, meet new members, choose new officers, and eat free pizza! This years general meeting will be held on October 29, 2008 at 7pm in BSLC 240. Hope to see you then!
Faculty Dinner
Our annual faculty dinner takes places either Fall or Winter Quarter each year. A member of the UChicago faculty is invited to discuss her experiences in science and how she got to be what she is today. Free dinner will be served!
Ice Cream Social
An ice cream social takes place in Fall or Spring quarter. Its a great opportunity to get to know fellow members and enjoy some Baskin Robbins ice cream sundaes!
Fundraiser
A fundraiser is usually held during Spring quarter to raise money for the Young Women’s Leadership Charter School in Chicago. This inner-city, all-girls school focuses its curriculum on math and science.
