What: Every year the Women in Science holds a Gala to raise money. All of the profits are donated to the Young Women Leadership Charter School. This inner city, all-girls school focuses its curriculum on math and science. What's the best way to increase the number of women in science? Support and motivate them when they're starting out! There will be good food, good company, and it's for a great cause. We will also be honoring a faculty member that has contributed to women in science.

Where: The gala will be held at the Ida Noyes Theatre (3rd Floor)

When: May 20, 2006 7-10 P.M

How much: Tickets are $10, $12 at the door. Dinner is included.

Tickets will be sold May 18th (11-4) in the Reynold's Club and May 19th (11-4) in the BSLC Lobby. You can also reserve you spot by emailing Sully19@uchicago.edu.
